The blueprint provisions a full data ingestion landscape. Streaming data sources such as sensors, events or logs can be captured through Amazon Kinesis. Batch and SaaS data sources are connected through AWS Glue. Whether your data lives in applications, databases, SaaS platforms or on-prem systems, the platform is designed to bring it all into AWS reliably and securely.
All data lands in a modern data lake on Amazon S3, governed by Lake Formation and catalogued through the Glue Data Catalog. Organisations that want lakehouse capabilities can easily extend this with Apache Iceberg tables. Thanks to this structure, data scientists and engineers can securely explore datasets using Athena, Glue ETL or other processing tools.
Where the platform truly shines is at the AI enablement layer (under construction). For traditional machine learning, Amazon SageMaker is fully integrated—covering data preparation, training, calibration, model registry, and inference. For generative AI, Amazon Bedrock is ready to use the moment your platform is deployed. You gain access to the latest foundation models from Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, Amazon and Cohere, alongside embedding models, vector search integrations, RAG capabilities, and Bedrock Agents for orchestrating complex tasks. Vector storage with OpenSearch Serverless or Aurora PostgreSQL (pgvector) is included, making it easy to build your first RAG-based chatbot or domain-specific assistant.
To operationalise everything, orchestration and automation components are available through Step Functions, Airflow or SageMaker Pipelines. This ensures that your workflows—from ingestion to processing to model deployment—can run reproducibly and efficiently.
